Like the face of many women, the sphere of this piece is pure attraction and intrigue. It´s the window open to the world, in this case, the sweetest window because it´s very femenine and it’s literally made of sugar.
Throughout the 200 years of history of BOVET 1822 many different sphers have been made out of several materials such as enamel, painting, guilloché, engraving, nácar, venturina, squeleton and so on… never before out of sugar.

The New Miss Audrey Sweet Art de BOVET 1822 is a thruly innovation not only in the material used but also in the making process. It is surely a feat in terms of ingeneering, materials and miniature painting: distinctive seals of the Brand.
The sugar cristals covering the sphere symbolize the sweetnes and purity of women as a homage to them.
The color proposal is varied and the hands have a romantic touch. When the minute hand reaches each hour, the two hands made a shape of a heart to remind us of a dear one.
With this innovation, Mr. Pascal Raffy celebrates his 20 years at the head of BOVET.
The process of creation is very complex. The sugar crystals are prepared so their structure is not altered when exposed to light or heat. Then the crystals are chosen by size and mixed with a special painting.One of the watch specialists in painting aplies them by hand to cover the sphere. This patented process doesn’t allow any error. It would mean to start all over again.
It is a Fleurier Amadéo 36 mm Stainless Steel size with 103 diamonds, convertible into a hand watch, a desk watch or a pocket watch without the need of any external tool. Automatic movement of 4Hz.
