Grande Date Sapphire Limited Edition

The B1.618 Grande Date Sapphire edition is a reinterpretation of the award-winning Flying Tourbillon Grande Date B1.618 that was recently presented at Geneva Watch Days.

This Haute Horlogerie timepiece combines for the first time a sapphire crystal case with rubber. The firm has integrated the rubber seams into its construction with the smooth curves of the tonneau case that have been further streamlined to offer maximum transparency.

The watchmaker has pioneered the use of exclusive carbon composites enhanced with unique titanium powder reflections and the combination of solid gold with carbon fibre in its latest Hybrid Gold watches. This combination reaffirms Bianchet’s identity as a brand that fuses precious materials with cutting-edge technology.

The finishing touch to this timepiece is a vulcanised white rubber strap and a titanium folding clasp, carefully designed to merge with the transparent back that provides the fluidity of the movement, and the harmony of its components built with the golden circles.

The Grande Date Sapphire edition is carefully assembled by hand in Bianchet’s workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland and some of the 21 Limited Edition pieces will be available for purchase from 15th to 17th October at SIAR in Mexico City.
