Defending champion Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia has been out on the first round of French Open 2018 on Sunday.
Along with her, seven-time grand slam champion American Venus Williams also lost in the first round of the tournament.
Ostapenko fell victim in the hands of Kateryna Kozlova of Ukraine with the score of 7-5, 6-3 on straight sets while Williams lost 6-4, 7-5 to the Chinese Wang Qiang.
